The government website states that people are allowed to leave their homes during the National Lockdown:
- for work purposes, where your place of work remains open and where you cannot work from home (including if your job involves working in other people’s homes)
This means that we are still able to perform socially-distanced quotations.
If you are vulnerable or have been told to shield, we will be unable to provide you with a quotation visit until further notice, but are able to offer a virtual quotation instead.
We ask that you only agree to an appointment if you are explicitly happy for us to perform a home appointment and are willing to follow all of the Covid secure rules below – if you are not explicitly happy for a home quotation, we will store your enquiry and contact you at a later date when the lockdown is over. If you would prefer a virtual quotation, please submit an enquiry as usual and ask our quotation team – we will discuss how our virtual quotations are carried out on your discovery call.
Any representative of Green Space UK entering your conservatory will take all necessary social distancing precautions including wearing a mask, remaining at least 2m from yourself, sanitising hands before entering and sanitising the work area before and after any measuring is carried out.
It is very important that we reduce the number of visits made to your property, to avoid all unnecessary travel and contact and to keep yourselves and our staff safe. This means that we require all homeowners present at quotation appointments to ensure any questions can be answered and product samples can be examined by all involved parties during one single visit, avoiding the need for further repeat visits.
For customers with upcoming quotation appointments, if you, a person in your household or a person you have been in contact with has COVID-19, or has any symptoms of COVID-19, please inform us as soon as you can so that we can rearrange any appointments that you have booked.
Our enquiries team are currently very busy working through a large amount of incoming enquiries as people are forced to spend more time in their conservatories and are looking to make it more useable – with some staff working from home and those in the office split between different rooms to ensure social distancing guidelines can be adhered to. This means that everything takes slightly longer in terms of scheduling your quotation appointment and there may be a slight delay in responding to your quotation request. Rest assured, we will be in touch as soon as we possibly can to progress your quotation and get you a price for replacing your own conservatory roofing panels.
Due to a reduction in staff working in the office (to adhere to social distancing guidelines), our telephone lines are currently being manned by an external call handling company.
