In most cases, yes. We send a surveyor out to each job to ensure your existing conservatory framework is suitable before we give you a quote. Each of our roofs has been designed to fit all types of conservatory. Our conservatory roofs are designed as a like for like replacement for your existing panels and every installation is different. Each roof is packed with high-density insulation. This helps keep the conservatory warm in winter, cool in summer and reduce the annoying noise during the bad weather.
Our conservatory roof panels are made from lightweight aluminium and contain 75mm of high-density foam insulation. Each one is tailor-made to fit your existing frame. To ensure that our installation team have the safest environment to work in, we do ask that you remove as much as possible from the conservatory on installation day. This is to ensure that there are no breakages of delicates or damage to furniture etc should there be any materials falling from a height. We are more than happy to help you move larger pieces of furniture if you require assistance.
The U value is a measurement of heat loss. Our roofs have a U value of 0.29, which means they have excellent insulation properties. They are eight times more efficient than polycarbonate conservatory roofs!
No. In 2010 building regulations were changed. Conservatory roofs are no longer required to be 75% translucent. This means that you are now able to get a solid insulated roof without planning permission.
