At Green Space UK, supporting our local communities and worthwhile causes is an important part of who we are. Throughout the year, our team has come together to support a range of charities through fundraising events, workplace initiatives and donations.

We're proud to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, we've now raised £2,208.50 for charity so far this year.

Supporting Worthy Causes Throughout the Year

Here's a look back at the charities we've supported and the impact we've made together.

January – Local Foodbank

We began the year by donating more than 20 food items to our local foodbank, helping to provide essential supplies for families and individuals in need.

February – British Heart Foundation

In February, we raised £62.50 for the British Heart Foundation, helping to fund life-saving research into heart and circulatory diseases.

March – Sands

March saw one of our biggest fundraising efforts, with an incredible £732 raised for Sands, the charity that supports anyone affected by the death of a baby and works to improve pregnancy outcomes across the UK.

April – RNLI

Our April fundraiser raised £180 for the RNLI, supporting the charity's volunteer lifeboat crews and water safety education that help save lives around the UK coastline.

May – Mental Health Foundation

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, our team raised an outstanding £932 for the Mental Health Foundation, helping to support research, education and programmes that promote good mental health for everyone.

June – Alzheimer's Society

Our most recent event, Darts for Dementia, raised £302 for Alzheimer's Society. The friendly darts competition brought colleagues together for an afternoon of fun while raising money to support people living with dementia and their families.

Reaching an Important Milestone

Raising £2,208.50 in just the first half of the year is a fantastic achievement and reflects the generosity, enthusiasm and community spirit of everyone at Green Space UK.

Every donation, every event and every person who has taken part has helped us reach this milestone. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed, whether by fundraising, donating, volunteering or simply showing their support.

Looking Ahead

Our fundraising efforts don't stop here!

We're already planning our upcoming charity events and would love to hear your ideas. If there's a charity close to your heart or a fundraising activity, you'd like us to organise, we'd be delighted to hear your suggestions.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us make such a positive impact so far this year. We look forward to continuing our fundraising journey and supporting even more worthwhile causes throughout the rest of the year.
