Green Space UK Raises Over £145 for the DEC Venezuela Earthquake Appeal
At Green Space UK, we believe in supporting causes that make a real difference. Recently, our team came together to raise funds for the Disaster Emergency Committee’s (DEC) Venezuela Earthquake Appeal by hosting a charity hot dog lunch at our head office.
Following the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela in June 2026, communities were left in urgent need of support, including access to essential supplies such as food, clean water, shelter and medical assistance.
The DEC brings together leading UK charities to provide emergency support and help those affected by disasters around the world.
This fundraiser was particularly meaningful for our team, as some of our colleagues have personal connections to Venezuela. We wanted to show our support for the communities affected and contribute towards the vital relief work taking place.
A Hot Dog Lunch for a Great Cause
To raise money for the appeal, we hosted a charity hot dog lunch, giving colleagues the chance to enjoy some food while supporting an important cause.
Hot dogs were available for £5 each alongside donuts and drinks, with all proceeds donated towards the DEC Venezuela Earthquake Appeal.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together, and thanks to the generosity of our team, we were delighted to raise over £145.
A special thank you goes to Martha, Fiona and Joe J for helping with the lunchtime hot dog rush and making sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Your support helped make the event a huge success!
