Green Space UK Wins Best Innovation at the 2026 National Entrepreneur Awards
We’re incredibly proud to announce that Green Space UK has been named Best Innovation WINNER at the 14th National Entrepreneur Awards 2026.
The award recognises businesses and entrepreneurs from across the UK that are pushing boundaries, finding better ways to solve everyday problems and bringing genuinely innovative products and services to their customers.
For us, winning Best Innovation is particularly special because innovation has always been at the heart of what we do.
Award-Winning Innovation in Conservatory Roof Replacement
At Green Space UK, we specialise in transforming existing conservatories with our Thermotec insulated conservatory roof panels.
For many homeowners, a traditional glass or polycarbonate conservatory roof can make their conservatory difficult to enjoy throughout the year. Conservatories can become excessively hot during the summer, cold during the winter, bright when the sun is shining and incredibly noisy in bad weather.
Our aim has always been simple: to offer homeowners a practical way to improve their existing conservatory without having to replace the entire structure.
Our lightweight Thermotec insulated aluminium roof panels are designed to replace the existing glass or polycarbonate panels within a suitable conservatory roof frame, helping homeowners create a more comfortable and usable space.
And now, that approach has officially been recognised with a Best Innovation award!
What Makes Our Conservatory Roof Panels Innovative?
Unlike a complete conservatory replacement, our system has been designed to work with the existing conservatory structure where suitable.
Each Thermotec panel is made to measure for the individual conservatory before being fitted into the existing roof framework.
This means homeowners can improve one of the biggest problem areas of their conservatory, the roof, while retaining the room they already have.
Our insulated conservatory roof panels can help to:
-
Reduce excessive heat from the sun during warmer weather
-
Retain heat more effectively during colder months
-
Significantly reduce the sound of rain compared with traditional roof materials
-
Reduce glare from direct sunlight
-
Protect furnishings from some of the effects of intense sunlight
-
Give an existing conservatory a fresh new appearance
Because every conservatory is different, our roof panels are manufactured specifically for each installation.
Helping Homeowners Make Better Use of Their Conservatories
For many of our customers, their conservatory was originally intended to provide additional living space, whether as a dining room, sitting area, office or somewhere to simply enjoy the garden.
Unfortunately, traditional conservatory roofing can sometimes make the room uncomfortable for significant parts of the year.
That is exactly the problem Green Space UK set out to address.
Instead of treating the conservatory as a room that needs replacing, we look at whether the existing structure can be improved.
By replacing suitable glass or polycarbonate roof panels with our insulated aluminium alternative, homeowners are able to enjoy their existing conservatory far more often throughout the year.
Recognised at the National Entrepreneur Awards 2026
Being crowned Best Innovation Winner at the 14th National Entrepreneur Awards is a fantastic achievement for the entire Green Space UK team.
We were competing alongside innovative businesses and entrepreneurs from across the UK, making the recognition even more meaningful.
The award reflects years of work developing, improving and installing our conservatory roof replacement system for homeowners across the country.
Most importantly, it recognises what sits behind the product: finding a straightforward solution to a very common problem.
