The biggest impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on Green Space UK in 2020 was the cancellation of our whole event season. As a company, we exhibit at the majority of Country, County, Garden and Flower shows throughout the South and Midlands – and have been doing so for the past 5 years. With all but 2 shows being cancelled last year, it was fantastic to exhibit again this year at the majority of shows that were held.
Between April and October, we attended 70 days across 31 shows, speaking to thousands of people about our insulated conservatory roofing panels. Whether it was the range of garden shows organised by Jane Sterck and her team at The Garden Shows, or the busy Three Counties Autumn show held in the Malvern Hills that saw record attendance, each and every show we have attended this year has been fantastically organised in the face of difficult challenges.
Our fantastic show team: Joan, John and Rod, managed by Field Marketing Manager, Reece, have gone above and beyond to make our show season a success and hopefully many of our customers will have had the chance to speak to one of them over the past few months.
We finished the show season with the acclaimed Grand Designs Live show at the NEC in Birmingham last week with an incredible (and large) set of stands that definitely made us stand out amongst the crowd.
All of this whilst participating in the many markets and car-boots that the South coast has to offer!
We can’t wait for *hopefully* a packed show season again next year and to meet and speak to more people about their conservatory roof issues and how we can solve them!
