As a green company, being environmentally friendly is a big deal to us. We strive to transform your conservatories to help make your homes more energy efficient and reduce your carbon footprint.
But that got us thinking, is there more we could be doing...?
It’s no secret that office environments use a lot of paper, and we’ll admit we use a lot of paper!
According to Ribble, 1 tree produces 10,000 pieces of paper.
So with that in mind, by our rough calculations, we would estimate we probably use around 1400 trees a year.
This is way too many for our liking, and so throughout 2021, we set about searching for ways to fix that! We trialled using seed paper, recycled paper and we made sure that all of our letters, envelopes and leaflets are fully recyclable.
But we wanted to do more…
And then we found (more:trees)!

(more:trees) work with tree planting partners across the world to plant and care for trees that go on to help the planet by absorbing carbon dioxide.
They help provide the farmers they work with with new skills and an income, which in turn helps their families, communities and boosts their local economies.
Planting trees also helps protect animals from deforestation and increases rainfall, which improves crop yield and purifies water!

For every roof we sell in 2022 we will plant a tree through (more:trees)!
And we’re not going to lie, we’re super excited for it!
In 2021 we sold just shy of 2500 insulated roofs; if we’d planted a tree for every one of those sales, we’d have replanted all the trees we used plus almost a thousand more!
So we’re hoping for an even more amazing 2022 so that we can get planting thousands of trees and do our bit to help our planet!
