Greenspace Raises Funds for SANDS Through Easter Bake Sale and Half Marathon Challenge

At Greenspace, we are committed to supporting meaningful causes and giving back to the community. This Easter, our team came together to raise money for SANDS, a leading UK charity that supports families affected by stillbirth and neonatal death and also conducts research into life saving healthcare.

Easter Bake Sale Raises £57 for SANDS

As part of our fundraising efforts, we hosted an in-office Hot Cross Bun bake sale, bringing the team together for a great cause. We had a range of delicious flavours of hot cross buns and provided toasters for those who enjoy them nice and crispy!

Thanks to everyone who took part and bought a bun, we successfully raised £57, with all proceeds going directly to SANDS.

While it may seem like a modest amount, every donation contributes towards the vital support services SANDS provides to bereaved families across the UK.

Supporting Fiona’s Half Marathon Fundraiser

In addition to our Easter fundraising, we are incredibly proud to support our HR team member, Fiona, who is currently training for the London Landmarks half marathon on the 12th of April in aid of SANDS!

To support her efforts, Greenspace has donated £500 towards her fundraising goal, helping her get closer to making an even bigger impact! If you wish to learn more about the fundraiser you can visit her page on Just Giving.

Over £700 Raised and Counting

Thanks to Fiona’s dedication and the generosity of supporters, she has already raised over £700 so far, with more donations expected as race day approaches making her in the top 25% of funraisers taking part.

Her commitment is a fantastic example of how individual efforts, combined with team support, can make a real difference.

SANDS carries out essential work across the UK, offering support, advice, and resources to families during incredibly difficult times. By fundraising and raising awareness, we hope to contribute in a small but meaningful way to their ongoing mission in supporting bereaved parents and conducting life saving research.
