We read with shock recently that a new study by the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) found that some UK homes could face ANOTHER £1,000 on their energy bills this winter.
Essentially, it comes down to poor insulation and whilst the figures are staggering, the cause is no surprise to us.
There has been mounting pressure on the government to do more to insulate homes with regards to how that can help in the battle against climate change but maybe these new stats will bring the insulation message closer to home.

“Setting out a clear, long-term strategy to retrofit the UK’s buildings will not only ensure we continue to deliver the net zero strategy, but it will also bolster our energy security by lowering demand for natural gas.”
