We are still busy planting trees every time we sell a roof! Well, we’re not actually planting them, but we are you know what we mean! Through (more:trees) we’ve planted over 550 trees in 2022 so far! Planting trees is a great way to help with climate change and look after our planet.

"Each tree helps to:

- Absorb carbon from the atmosphere

- Provide farms with work to support the local economy

- Give someone an income and a skill to feed their family

- Protect animals from deforestation

- Increase rainfall, purify water and improve crop yield."

(More:Trees) team up with tree planting partners working with local communities to restore forests and reduce extreme poverty. Not only does planting a tree help to reduce CO2, it also provides benefits such as water filtration, shelter, food sources, poverty alleviation and biodiversity.

Some of the places (more:trees) work include Madagascar, Haiti and Kenya. You can find out more about their Kenyan projects -Kijabe forest and Mida creek- here! We love to read about the work (more:trees) are doing, knowing that we’re helping, and our wonderful customers should be very proud too as we wouldn’t be planting so many trees without them!

We’re looking forward to planting more trees through 2022 and seeing just how many more we can plant!
